Before joining CCA she coached in Katy Texas with KATY Aquatics for 2 years. While at KATY she held positions as assistant coach, lead 10 & under coach, and site supervisor. During those 2 years at KATY she helped quickly re-build an underperforming 10 & Under program into one of the strongest 10 & Under groups in the GULF LSC. She also assisted with the Gold and High Performance groups on a regular basis, and traveled and assisted with these groups at USA Swimming Futures, Junior Nationals, and the 2016 Olympic Trials. Previously from 2012 – 2014 she worked with the Boise YMCA swim team, again working with all facets of the club. In 2013 she became Head Coach for Rocky Mountain High School in Boise, ID. While her time as a Head Coach she changed the culture of the team while creating a top 5 high school program in the state for both boys and girls.
Jenny grew up in Missoula, Montana and had the opportunity to be coached at the Missoula Aquatic Club by Olympic Silver Medalist and former World Record Holder Dave Berkoff. She competed in USA Swimming Sectionals series both winter and summer for 5 years before going to college. As a high school swimmer, she was team captain for both her junior and senior year while also being undefeated in the 50 & 100 freestyle. After high school, Jenny became part of the first recruiting class for Boise State University Swimming. As a Bronco, she helped create a family / winning culture at Boise State. She helped the Broncos win WAC Conference Championship titles in both 2010 and 2011. Jenny is excited to be back in west where mountains are not far away. She is excited to be a part of the CCA family.

I swam competitively for Helena Lions Swim Team for 10 years, beginning in 1998. During that time I specialized in backstroke and distance freestyle events. I attended several Age Group Sectional and Zones meets in my career, highlighted by a second place finish in the 1650 free at Age Group Regionals (2006). I also represented Capital High School Bruins Swimming, earning a silver medal in the 200 freestyle relay at the MHSA state meet in 2007.
I believe that anyone who wants to should be able to enjoy the sport of competitive swimming to their fullest potential. Every member of a team is very important, and should be treated as such. My goal is to impress all of my love and knowledge of this activity on young athletes so they may come to enjoy it for the entirety of their lives. I particularly focus my energies on teaching safety skills, proper technique, strong work ethic, and mental preparedness to my students.
